Lovin Fall
it is starting to get cooler in the morning. we have had our first vacation, we are making plans for the Apple festival, and Denver days, and lazy 5, Carrigan farms, my birthday, consignment sales........man does life get any better. i have started early on my Christmas shopping, ready to decorate for Fall, and halloween. i love wearing jeans and tshirt, planning a road trip to the mts, college homecoming, fairs, cookouts, bonfires

4th of July
It has gone by so fast! So a quick update, Will is doing so much better! All praise goes to God our Father, the ultimate Healer.
Will walks without the walker, but he is still having balance issues, memory issues, and has some trouble from the TBI. I am now working at CMC in HR. I love the people I work with and the work I do.
Shea and I have had to learn the hard way to manage our finances better. Better early in life.
Spencer is so fast, climbed/fell out of the crib again today so we finally moved her into the toddler bed. Bedtime tonight is HARD, this is no piece of cake and breaks my heart to hear her crying at the door, and Shea is NOT happy with me, but he didn't want her falling out of the crib anymore.
She is almost potty trained and is back at Alex's. we tried the daycare thing but it did not work so well for us.
I am trying hard to keep the house cleaned.
Our friends Jason and Kat had their little boy- Jackson Hayes. He is just beautiful!
We see the pregnancy bug is still in the water- lots of people we know and love are having babies.
It is almost campmeeting time and we can't wait! We love this time of year except the fact that it means summer is over.
We have a trip to HIlton Head planned in September- Labor day week. and were planning to go to Hawaii again tickets bought and everything til the airline cancelled our flights and the only ones available now are traveling almost 24 hours- and not doing that to Miss Spencer. So looking at other flights or maybe not going.
So that is about it in a nutshell! Hope everyone had a safe 4th!

SPRING CLEAN
Ok,
I am seriously in a spring cleaning mode. I totally re-arranged my living room yesterday and had been planning to for months but couldn't figure out what to do with it. But I like it so far- it really opens it up. Shea likes it but says its not symmetrical, but he doesn't have to worry about tripping over stuff in the morning leaving for work.
I am getting ready for a yard sale saturday since I missed the consignment sales I was gonna sell at but due to Will's accident- my focus changed- but Now I need SPACE. I am even going through my own closet- and Shea's- to clean out clothes we don't wear often or much so we can have space in the closet. Right now it is much too crammed for me to find anything. LOL and I have my favorites that I always wear.
I have all this baby equipment and toys that I keep clearing out, and grandparents keep bringing more in LOL. Then I can't help it. I keep saying Spencer has enough clothes- but I keep buying her stuff myself LOL. So today I went through and rotated sizes out and redid her room. I moved the Chaise lounge out of our bedroom into the foyer, so now I have this BIG gap in our room. I am thinking about getting it cleaned out.
I really wish I had money to pay someone else to organize and clean out myhouse for me. Like on Clean Sweep! make me get rid of it, and reorganize and set it up for me !!! Who's with me??
Anyone know someone that will help me organize my house and is pretty reasonable?

Market Research
So has anyone besides me seen TV shows, commercials, or movies where people are doing market research studies for products and wanted to know how to get into them yourself?
Well I got in with a company Leibowitz Market Research and finally got approved for one of their studies. I had homework for this one and went to the group last night- btw I got $100 for 1.5 hrs of my time- well worth it to just give my opinion.
It went by fast- we talked about Frozen vegetables. The homework was going to the grocery store and buying a vegetable in a non steamer bag and looking around the aisle and noting your thoughts. what did you notice, like or dislike about the vegetable aisle at the store. then cook it and note what you cooked, and thoughts about your product.
they asked us about why we chose what we did? do we buy sauces on veg or not? then had sheets about possible new product descriptions and would we like them why or why not? what do we wish we had? colors, flavors, cooking styles, vegetables styles, mixes, meals, etc.
I didn't know there were so many things you could ask about vegetables LOL. IT was really fun. There were 8 of us. If you are interested in being part of this- some are afternoons, some evenings, mine was 8-9:30 last night in S CHarlotte - right off 485. Let me know - they need more people to be part of them.

New Leaf
Ok So I am really going to try to keep updated on the BLOG.
It has been hard with all the trips to the hospital, and being so tired at night, but I figure if I can find time to play Guitar hero like last night I can blog LOL.
Favorite song on Guitar Hero right now- Black Magic Woman! I ROCK that one! LOL
Thanks to all that have offered to watch Spencer for me to go to the hospital. I really means a lot and I have been taking more of you up on that lately. It is nice to know she can play while I can focus my time then on my family. WIll needs full attention there and it gives mom and dad a break and time to rest. SPencer also needs my full attention and mom and dad don't need to chase her, so Thanks so much for watching her during that time. I may be calling you again! :-)
Surprise Surprise I have actually been even cooking FULL HOMEMADE meals at night at a decent hour. Shea is SHOCKED LOL!

Spencer Isabel is 1
I Love this child- more than I ever thought I could love anyone! She makes my heart so filled with JOY when she runs up and hugs me. Sweet baby girl- you are my joy, my hope, and everything that is good in the world. I let your daddy talk me into having chickens so you could eat healthier food. Somehow I think he feels you won't develop as quickly either without the added hormones LOL.
You are chatting up a storm and boy do I wish I knew what you were saying. I am so glad you are a sweet and social child. You play so well with other kids. You had such fun with Heath on Friday, and with Garrison, Maci, Micah, and Marley on Saturday, and with Fallon today.
I am so glad you can play with friends while mommy is at the hospital with Uncle Will, Nana, and Papa! We Love you sweet girl- just stop growing up so fast on us!

WORK
So I lost my job last week, which I know overall is the least of my worries.
There are many pluses- I get to spend more time with Spencer, be home and happier for Shea, be available for my family in my brothers recovery which is a roller coaster, work on growing my handbag business more, and follow my dream of starting another dream business of mine with another colleague!
But in the meantime- I need support, and feedback, and good thoughts my way!

My brother was in a terrible Car Accident Wednesday morning a week ago. He is in Trauma ICU at CMC in CHarlotte. He is up and down and things are changing each day. It is tough and we really need the prayers. I will try to update but i don't check this site much since I don't know if anyone reads it or comments but please pray if you see this!

Rays
I am so excited to go to Rays Splash Planet for the Tot meet and greet. $3 for kids, free for parents. They do this once a month on Monday. March 10th is the next one.
I know how much Spencer LOVES water, so I can't wait to see how she does there.

My computer....what's a girl to do!
I miss my computer. My home computer has all my pictures on it. I can't print pictures. I can't load pictures. I am stuck!
I have all these great videos of my little girl walking that I can't load. She is getting SO SO big and I can't look back on how little she was a month or 2 ago to remember how far she has come.
Those days will never be here again. She will never be 8, or 9 months old again. WOW. I just can't believe how fast the last 10 months have gone.
Anyone have ideas to remember these days?

UGH
WHY is it that I cannot get to work on time when my boss is in time??? Anyone know??
Is it the on time gods against me? LOL
Anyway- Spencer is sick- a cold, our first illness, not fun. I am paying for laughing at everyone that ever complained about the sick whiny kids they had.
My ever happy baby is whiny and doesn't know what she wants, and cries, and has been blowing snot boogers-YUCK! And of course she does NOT want me wiping that nose, which is now RAW and certainly does not like the bulb suction thing. I have to trap her and wrap my body around her to hold her still.
Shea doesn't know how to deal- he didn't want to go out to eat at Everest last night because "our child is sick" yes well your wife had a sucky day at work and refuses to stay at home, cook, or clean ANYTHING- so we are going out!
Does that make me a bad parent? NAH!
Moriah- I did this post just because I just emailed you and know you will be checking it out LOL!

update
I am working my little tushie off here with the new job. But Thankfully I am not afraid to call people up and ask to meet them. I like the change, new boss, new work, lots of changes.
So maybe things will turn around for us soon.

New Year!
Do you hate coming up with New Years Resolutions? I do. I am trying to be more healthy. Trying to walk the stairs at work.
LOL
Trying to spend more time at home with my family. Trying to stay busy and feel like I still have a social life. Trying to fix our finances.
We really overextend ourselves wanting "stuff" . Anyone else do that? We don't Need Anything, but we buy anyway. We have not eaten out in a while though. so that is a start- and will probably be healthier too.

Spencer
Spencer is Such a Ham! I am so Glad Shea got to spend time with her over Christmas break. He taught her to cluck like a chicken. LOL! When I got home she said Bye Bye Da da, LOL. I am serious!!!! She has so much personality. I can't wait to see what else she comes up with as she gets bigger!
